FirstEnergy Solutions Waives Polar Vortex Surcharge for Residential Customers

FirstEnergy Solutions announced that it is waiving its polar vortex surcharge for residential customers.
The one-time, $5 to $15 per customer surcharge would have appeared on residential customers' May, June or July bills.
FirstEnergy Solutions will still charge the fee to commercial customers, with the fee equaling 1-3% of annual generation bills.
