New Texas Retail Electric Provider Launches Service

Enertrade Electric has begun offering retail electric service in Texas.
Enertrade Electric is currently offering residential customers a six-month fixed rate at Oncor, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, AEP Texas Central, AEP Texas North, and Texas-New Mexico Power.
Enertrade says that it never charges a deposit.
At Oncor, Enertrade Electric's six-month fixed rate has an average all-in rate of 12.2¢/kWh (all average prices quoted based on 1,000 kWh usage).. This reflects an energy charge of 8¢, a monthly fee of $4.95, and a pass-through of TDU charges of 3.223¢/kWh and $5.25 per month.
At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Enertrade Electric's six-month fixed rate has an average all-in rate of 13.2¢/kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 8¢, a monthly fee of $4.95, and a pass-through of TDU charges of 3.8563¢/kWh and $8.52 per month.
The products include a $150 early termination fee.
Commercial service is also available.
