Texas REP Offering Replenishment of Prepaid Service Through Barcode Sent to Phone

Texas retail provider Frontier Utilities is offering customers the ability to replenish their prepaid service through scanning a barcode sent to their mobile devices.

According to a video from Frontier, customers text the word "barcode" to the specified Frontier number. Upon doing so, they receive a barcode.

Customers can then use this barcode to purchase prepaid electricity at Kroger, Walmart, HEB, and ACE Cash Express

This barcode service is available for Android devices via a Frontier app.
