Texas Power Reserve Seeks Retail Electric Provider Certificate

Texas Power Reserve, LLC applied for an Option 2 Texas retail electric provider certificate, which would allow it to serve customers 1 MW and larger who sign an affidavit agreeing to such service.
The company also submitted a power generation company registration indicating that the company will install, own, and operate a 9.93 MW industrial-based diesel/natural gas fired power generator to provide reliable power supply to industrial customers, allow participation in demand response, and provide electricity to the real-time market.

Although any legal relationship is unclear, David Walters is also President of Walters Power International, a global provider of local power, and other services to power generators
