Texas Staff Recommend Dismissal of Latest Jade Energy REP Certificate Amendment Application
Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas have recommended that the latest REP certificate amendment application averred to be made on behalf of Jade Energy, LLC d/b/a Bose Power & Electric be dismissed. The amendment application seeks to reflect a "Change in Ownership/Control", "Corporate Restructuring", "Change in Technical/Managerial Qualifications," and has again been challenged by individuals averring to have ownership of the REP (click here for story). "Based on the information provided, Staff is unable to analyze the application and is unable to determine if the Applicant has the necessary authorization to file the application," Staff said in recommending dismissal. Staff also said that the applicants have not provided sufficient information for Staff to analyze the effect of the proposed change in ownership and control on the applicant's ability to meet the requirements of P.U.C. SUBST. R. 25.107(f)(1)(B) and 25.107(g)(1)(E).
Texas REP Granted Amendment to Reflect New Legal Name
The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted Acacia Energy LLC an amendment to its Texas REP certificate to reflect a change of its legal name to Brooklet Energy Distribution LLC. Acacia Energy has now been added to the certificate as a trade name
