New Name Granted for Texas REP
The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted Potentia Energy a REP certificate amendment to reflect a change in its certificate name to Verde Energy USA Texas, LLC. Verde Energy confirmed to EnergyChoiceMatters.com that it will be phasing-out use of the Potentia brand, in favor of Verde Energy.
R. R. Donnelley & Sons Receives Supplier License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company an electric supplier license to serve large commercial (over 25 kW demand) customers at Citizens' Electric Company, Duquesne Light Company, PECO Energy Company, and PPL Electric Utilities Corporation. As previously reported, R. R. Donnelley & Sons is a printer which sought a supplier license for the sole purpose of self-supplying its Pennsylvania facilities.

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Energy Advisory Service, LLC a natural gas broker/marketer license to serve all sizes of commercial customers in all service areas.
