Reliant Names NFL Star As Vice President

Reliant has named Justin James "J.J." Watt, Defensive End for the Houston Texans and NFL Defensive Player of the Year, as Vice President of Power Relations

Watt is starring in a series of commercials promoting Reliant's previously reported non-supply services, such as security services and home energy check-ups. The spots show Watt's versatility -- tackling sports such as curling and synchronized swimming -- to highlight Reliant's similar versatility in offering more than just commodity supply

Watt is also promoting Reliant's previously reported Texans-themed electricity supply plan, which includes enrollment incentives such as a J.J. Watt jersey, a $25 donation on the customer's behalf split between the Justin J. Watt Foundation and the Houston Texans Foundation, and an invitation to a Houston Texans autograph session
