PSC Adopts Switching, Billing Changes Impacting Retail Suppliers

The Florida Public Service Commission approved tariff changes at Peoples Gas System that include changes to when switches to alternative gas suppliers are effective.
Specifically, according to the PSC, Peoples’ firm service customers who use more than 2,000 therms per year will be able to change third-party gas suppliers effective with the next billing period, eliminating the possibility of receiving two supplier bills for one period.
