XOOM Energy Seeks Authority To Serve Customers in New Service Areas
XOOM Energy Pennsylvania, LLC filed for amendments to its Pennsylvania electric and natural gas supplier licenses to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers at Penn Power, UGI Utilities - Electric, Peoples Natural Gas - Equitable Division, and UGI Penn Natural Gas. XOOM Energy is currently licensed to serve customers at PECO (electric and gas), Met-Ed, Penelec, West Penn Power, Duquesne Light, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, Peoples Natural Gas Corporation, Columbia Gas, UGI Utilities- Gas Division, and UGI Central Penn Gas.
Texas-Based Broker Receives License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Simplified Power, Inc. an electric broker/aggregator license to serve residential and commercial customers in all service areas. Simplified Power has pending license applications in Pennsylvania and Illinois as well.
