Texas PUC Approves REP's Amendment Application, Suspension To Be Lifted

The Public Utility Commission of Texas approved an application from Jade Energy, LLC to amend its REP certificate to demonstrate compliance with the technical and financial requirements of 16 TAC § 25.107. Under a previously adopted settlement order, the approval of a certificate amendment reflecting compliance with 16 TAC § 25.107 is to result in the automatic lifting of the agreed suspension of Jade Energy's REP certificate (click here for background). Additionally, under the prior settlement, if Jade fails to serve customers on or before May 14, 2016, Jade consents to the automatic entry of a consent order revoking its REP Certificate No. 10222, unless Jade's failure to serve customers is the result of a delayed flight test that is not attributable to Jade.
