Start-up Texas Retail Energy Provider Seeks To Use Trade Name Tex-Power, Led By Energy Marketing Veteran

Windrose Power & Gas, LLC, a start-up retail supplier whose formation was first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com earlier this year, has applied for a Texas retail electric provider certificate.

Windrose Power & Gas, LLC has applied to use the trade name Tex-Power in Texas, as well as the trade names Windrose Energy and Windrose Retail Energy

As previously reported, Windrose Power and Gas is owned by Thomas Strickland, a veteran energy marketer and trader who has held VP positions at Pacific Summit Energy, Cheniere Marketing, Inc., and Cinergy Marketing and Trading

Kim Janicki serves as Manager, Accounting/Operations for Windrose Power and Gas. Janicki has held similar positions at YEP Energy and Direct Energy, among other energy marketers.
