If granted, Solar Star Plano I would be only the second Option 3 REP licensed in Texas, following ERock On-Site LLC which, as exclusively reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, received the first Option 3 certificate last year
An Option 3 REP is a REP that sells electricity exclusively to a retail customer other than a small commercial and residential customer from a distributed generation facility located on a site controlled by that customer.
