Start-up "Texas Utilities Exchange" Seeks Texas Aggregator License, Retains Market Veteran

Texas Utilities Exchange, LLC applied for a Texas electric aggregator certificate to pool all customer classes, municipalities, and political subdivisions.

Texas Utilities Company was the former name of what became TXU Corp. in 1999.

Texas Utilities Exchange, LLC was formed in late 2016

In its aggregator application, Texas Utilities Exchange lists its partners as including Maxwell Farmer, Kermit Farmer, and Cynthia Farmer. Maxwell Farmer and Kermit Farmer both previously worked for brokers in the Texas market.

Additionally, Texas Utilities Exchange in its application lists market veteran Walt Fenoglio as a senior advisor. Fenoglio served as senior manager at TXU and held various positions at its predecessor companies. Fenoglio has also held positions at Texas Energy Aggregation and Edison Mission Energy
