New Broker Launched By TXU Parent Seeks License In New State

Blitz Ventures LLC, a newly formed company focused on energy brokerage services for commercial businesses whose ultimate parent is Vistra Energy Corp., registered as a New Hampshire electric and natural gas aggregator

The launch of Blitz Ventures by Vistra Energy Corp., the parent of TXU Energy, Value Based Brands (4Change Energy and Express Energy), and Luminant Energy, had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com (see prior story for more background)

Blitz Ventures has already received Ohio electric and natural gas broker licenses to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.

In its prior Ohio application, Blitz Ventures has stated, "Blitz will facilitate a primarily digital shopping experience for commercial buyers of electricity and natural gas as they compare various offers from electricity and natural gas suppliers in the competitive market."

"The digital experience will provide offers and comparisons of electricity and natural gas contracts from electricity and natural gas suppliers," Blitz Ventures had stated in its Ohio application

Blitz Ventures' website has also gone live (although it may not be in its final form, the address at least now returns a live page rather than a "parked" page).

On its website, Blitz Ventures states, "Buy the right electricity and natural gas plan for your business, 100% online."

The website outlines a 3 step process: 1) Fill in your energy needs and preferences; 2) We'll get quotes from top suppliers; 3) Choose the plan to meet your needs

At this time, the only interactivity on the site is a field to submit an email address to be contacted in the future
