New Broker Launched By TXU Parent Seeks Licenses In New State

Blitz Ventures LLC, the newly formed company focused on energy brokerage services for commercial businesses whose ultimate parent is Vistra Energy Corp., has applied for Maryland electric and natural gas broker licenses to serve commercial and industrial customers in all service areas. ENGIE Resources Receives Gas Supplier License In New State

The Illinois Commerce Commission granted ENGIE Resources LLC an alternative natural gas supplier license to serve all eligible residential and small commercial customers in the service areas of Northern Illinois Gas Company d/b/a Nicor Gas Company, The Peoples Gas Light and Coke Company, and North Shore Gas Company, and all eligible small commercial customers in the service area of Ameren Illinois Company d/b/a Ameren Illinois. ENGIE's mass market supplier, Think Energy, previously received an Illinois gas supplier license
