Connecticut Schedules Technical Meeting On Next Month Rate Info Retail Supplier Must Provide For Bills
The Connecticut PURA will convene a technical meeting on Thursday, May 3, 2018 concerning Docket No. 14-07-19RE05, PURA Investigation Into Redesign Of The Residential Electric Billing Format – Review Of Summary Information, Implementation And Display, the proceeding which includes the obligation of suppliers to provide next month rate information on bills. The conference will discuss the comments submitted in response to the April 11, 2018 Notice of Request for Written Comments and the responses to Interrogatories No. SEU-1 through SEU-13.
NEM Files Interlocutory Appeal Of Ruling Denying Stay Of NY Retail Mass Market Evidentiary Proceeding
The National Energy Marketers Association filed with the New York PSC an emergency request for an interlocutory review of the presiding ALJs' ruling which denied a motion from NEM to stay the evidentiary proceedings in the retail mass market review, pending a decision from the New York State Court of Appeals on appeals from NEM and ESCOs concerning the PSC's authority over ESCOs. The Utility Intervention Unit (UIU) of the New York State Department of State’s Division of Consumer Protection opposed the National Energy Marketers Association’s emergency request for an interlocutory appeal.
