Dynegy Energy Services (East), LLC, a unit of Vistra Energy, intends to utilize the following two trade names in its marketing and sales operations within Pennsylvania:
1. Brighten Energy, and
2. Dynegy
Brighten, as was exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in 2010, was a brand first contemplated to be used by an affiliate of TXU Energy as it considered entering the Pennsylvania market, as it obtained (and later relinquished) a license but never entered the Pennsylvania market to serve customers
Dynegy Energy Services (East), LLC's formerly-registered fictitious name in Pennsylvania, "Dynegy Energy Services", has been amended through a Pennsylvania Department of State filing to be "Dynegy".
