Direct Energy Offering Texas Customers Ability To Pay Via Mobile Wallet

Direct Energy is now providing Texas customers the ability to pay bills through mobile wallets such as Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

Direct Energy said that it is the first energy retailer in Texas to offer customers an option to pay their bills from the customer's Apple Wallet or Google Pay

In addition to bill payment options, the Direct Energy Mobile Wallet allows customers to opt-in to receive notifications on payment due dates, when a bill arrives and when a payment is processed.

The Direct Energy Mobile Wallet also provides quick access to invoices, Direct Energy's home services, the customer's online account and the customer's unique refer-a-friend code.

The Direct Energy Mobile Wallet is free to use.

"The Direct Energy Mobile Wallet is a seamless mobile billing experience that you can add to your Google Pay or Apple Wallet app. Add your energy bill in seconds and start paying your bills with just one tap, wherever you are. With this free service, you have a quick all-access pass to your bill and your Direct Energy account in the palm of your hand," Direct Energy says of the mobile wallet

"Customers will need to follow a few steps to begin integration, but once set up, they can pay their bills in mere seconds – rather than taking time to log onto a website or app," Direct Energy said

"We are always looking to improve our customer experience, and allowing customers to use their digital wallet is just one example of that," Direct Energy said
