Start-Up Named PowerToSave LLC Files Texas Broker Registration

PowerToSave LLC, a start-up, has filed with the Texas PUC an electricity broker registration

PowerToSave LLC's filing indicates that its website domain is powertosave.com

The Texas PUC uses the brand "Power to Save" for its energy conservation and education website (powertosavetexas.org) which is a companion to Power To Choose. Several retail electric providers have even suggested that the PUC should promote Power to Save rather than Power To Choose in residential electric bills (see story here)

Jonathan B Bowman serves as President of PowerToSave LLC. An individual with the same name, address, and contact information also serves as President of MovingIn LLC, which also recently registered as a Texas electric broker

The address for both companies has been used by a provider of utility billing and other solutions for multifamily and other property owners
