New York ESCO Winding Down All Operations

Electree LLC is in the process of winding down all operations, and filed at the New York PSC to surrender its eligibility as an electricity and natural gas ESCO. Electree no longer serves retail natural gas or electricity customers in the State of New York. EnergyChoiceMatters previously reported that NYISO on January 27 had informed market participants that Electree, LLC had suffered a Creditworthiness Default, with the ESCO's electric customers dropped to default service.


D M and Associates Energy LLC Seeks New Jersey Licenses

D M and Associates Energy LLC applied for a New Jersey energy agent license and a New Jersey energy consultant license. D M and Associates Energy LLC did not list a trade name on the application.


XL Energy Corp Seeks Maryland License

XL Energy Corp applied for a Maryland electric broker license to serve commercial customers at BGE, Pepco, Delmarva, Potomac Edison, and SMECO. XL Energy Corp's application also checked a box to serve residential customers at BGE only; however, a narrative included with the application suggests that XL Energy Corp will serve only commercial customers.
