The PUCT approved a final Prepaid Disclosure Statement for REPs, adopting Staff's latest proposal without substantive modification (Project 39357).

A separate standard form Prepaid Disclosure Statement applies to residential and commercial customers.

The residential Prepaid Disclosure Statement requires REPs to list the connection balance, disconnection balance, and reconnection balance, as well as any non-recurring REP fees and methods of pre-payment, including fees, if any, for such pre-payments.

As previously reported (10/17), TDU discretionary service charges are not required to be listed on the residential Prepaid Disclosure Statement.

Instead, a worksheet is provided for customers to fill-in this information as applicable after calling and discussing any fees with the REP (whether the fees are deducted from the initial connection balance or paid in addition to the connection balance).
