Draft Would Approve ResCom Settlement
A draft Connecticut PURA decision would approve a settlement between ResCom Energy LLC and PURA Prosecutorial Staff under which ResCom would make a $4,500 donation to a fuel fund to resolve an investigation into unauthorized switches (See 2/1). Notably, the PURA draft would allow the ResCom supplier license to remain valid beyond the expiration date of ResCom's security bond (March 6, 2012) for the sole purpose of completing the transfer of ResCom's customers to Public Power, LLC under a previously reported sale (11/23). ResCom's voluntary relinquishment of its license will take effect upon completion of the customer transfers.
