FERC Revokes Market-Based Rate Authority of Retail Supplier, 34 Others

FERC revoked the market-based rate authority of 35 "public utilities," including a retail supplier, for what FERC said was failure to file a baseline electronic market-based rate tariff as previously ordered (see prior story).
The Commission revoked the market-based rate authority and terminated the electric market-based rate tariffs of the following companies:

With respect to Community Power & Utility, the supplier had previously asked FERC to cancel its market-based rate tariff, in light of its pending sale to Twin Cities Power, LLC (see prior story), but the tariff was not immediately cancelled as requested, as FERC sought from Community Power & Utility a list of the affected purchasers to whom the notice has been provided.
