Conn. Draft Would Approve Transfer of Community Power & Utility License to Twin Cities Power
A draft Connecticut PURA decision would approve the transfer of Community Power & Utility, LLC's electric supplier license to Twin Cities Power, LLC d/b/a Town Square Energy. The sale had been first reported in Matters. The draft concludes that the sale of Community Power & Utility, LLC and the resulting name change of the licensee to Twin Cities Power, LLC d/b/a Town Square Energy constituted a "transfer of license" and requires Twin Cities Power, LLC to demonstrate its own financial, technical and managerial capability, which the draft concludes the company has done.
Capital Energy Inc. Seeks Ohio Broker License
Capital Energy Inc. applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. New York-based Capital Energy Inc. is active in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New York. The broker is not affiliated with Capital Energy LLC, which received an Ohio electric supplier license earlier this year.
