Constellation Selected for Illinois Opt-Out Aggregation
Constellation said that it has been selected by Marshall County and Toluca, Illinois to serve their opt-out municipal aggregation. The aggregation includes a 24-month term at a rate of $0.04790 per kilowatt-hour, with 100% of supply consisting of hydropower generated in Illinois or adjacent states. Electric service under the newly negotiated rates is scheduled to begin as early as August 2012.
Bounce Energy Donating to Impact A Hero for New Enrollments
Bounce Energy said that it is donating $50 to Impact A Hero, a Houston-based non-profit organization that aids wounded and disabled veterans of the War on Terror, for every new customer signing up during June with a promo code. Bounce Energy also made a donation of $2,500 to Impact A Hero, and is also donating $0.50 for every new Facebook "Like" and Twitter follower that Bounce receives during the month of June.
