"Compassion Energy" Trade Name Approved for NRG Energy Retail Provider

The Public Utility Commission of Texas has approved the addition of the trade name "Compassion Energy" to the REP certificate of a retail electric provider owned by NRG Energy.
Specifically, US Retailers LLC, which markets as Pennywise Power under REP Certification No. 10177, applied for the amendment to the certificate to add the Compassion Energy trade name.
The application to use the name Compassion Energy was first reported by Matters.
Compassion Energy's website states that, "Competitive pricing and flexible plans from Compassion Energy will be coming soon."
The "Pennywise Power" and "Pennywise" trade names remain on the REP certificate as well.
