Two Retail Suppliers Seeking to Enter Georgia Gas Market

Recently, two retail suppliers have separately applied for a natural gas marketer certificate in Georgia.

Specifically, XOOM Energy Georgia, LLC applied for a Georgia marketer certificate to serve all pools. Since being launched last year, Xoom Energy has expanded to electric and/or gas service in 10 states, with additional states, including New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Georgia, listed on its website as coming soon.

United Energy Trading, LLC, d/b/a Kratos Gas & Power, also applied for a Georgia marketer certificate to serve all pools. As previously reported, United Energy Trading is an active retail gas supplier in California (as Blue Spruce Energy Services) and Ohio.
