North American Power Seeks License in New States
North American Power and Gas LLC has applied for a Maine electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. North American Power said that it has pending supplier applications filed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well.
New Retail Supplier Licensed in Georgia
The Georgia PSC granted United Energy Trading, LLC d/b/a Kratos Gas & Power an interim certificate of authority to provide firm natural gas services in all of the AGL Georgia primary delivery pool groups, to wit: Atlanta, Ex-Atlanta Southern, Ex-Atlanta Transco, Macon, Augusta, Brunswick, Rome, Valdosta, and Savannah.
Conservice Brand Comes to Texas Retail Market
The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted Iluminar Energy an amendment to its Texas REP certificate to add the trade name Conservice Energy to the certificate. As only reported by Matters, Conservice LLC, a utility management and billing company focused on the multi-family industry, acquired Iluminar Energy last year.
GEM Industrial Receives License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted GEM Industrial, Inc. an Ohio electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. As previously reported, GEM Industrial, Inc. is affiliated with GEM Inc., a specialty contractor offering a broad range of services designed to improve the performance of process and facility investments, including boiler, electrical, energy services, facility management, machinery installation, maintenance, mechanical, and other services. GEM Inc. is a Rudolph Libbe Company.
