Texas Retail Provider Files to Use Trade Name Apollo Power & Light

A Texas retail electric provider has applied for an amended REP certificate to add several trade names, including Apollo Power & Light LLC

Specifically, Beneficial Power LLC sought to add the trade names Apollo Power & Light LLC, Plaid Energy LLC, and Plaid Power LLC to its certificate.

As previously reported, Weir Investments Fund, LLC d/b/a Apollo Power & Light LLC had applied to transfer its REP certificate to Beneficial Power LLC, stating that Beneficial Power wished to use the Apollo Power & Light LLC trade name as well.

However, the transfer application was subsequently withdrawn, and the new certificate application filed by Beneficial Power LLC, and subsequently granted, did not contain any trade names.
