Perigee Energy Acquires Customers from Retail Supplier

Perigee Energy, LLC has acquired a book of customers from a retail supplier.

Specifically, Perigee Energy has acquired the electric customers of Your Energy Holdings, LLC.

Your Energy stated that it is transferring all of its rights and responsibilities relating to its electric sales agreements with customers to Perigee Energy, LLC. Your Energy informed electric customers that there will not be any changes to their terms and conditions.

Your Energy informed electric customers that their account is estimated to switch to Perigee Energy on the next available meter reading beyond 30 days of the date of customer notification of the transfer. A notification letter was sent to customers the week of April 29, 2013, regarding the transfer.

EnergyChoiceMatters.com first reported last month that Your Energy Holdings, LLC, which was focused on serving residential customers, had decided to unwind its residential business. Your Energy Holdings, LLC was a new business line launched by Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp. to serve the residential market in 2012.

Noble Americas had told Matters that it is unwinding the Your Energy Holdings residential business due to a change in strategy. The unwind of the residential-focused Your Energy Holdings, LLC has no impact on Noble Americas Energy Solutions LLC, a distinct retail supply company which will continue to serve commercial, industrial, and other non-residential customers under its distinct licenses.
