Retail Supplier, People's Counsel Reach Settlement in Principle Regarding Investigation

Starion Energy PA. Inc. and the District of Columbia Office of the People's Counsel said that they have reached a settlement in principle regarding a PSC investigation into Starion's business and solicitation practices, and asked that a hearing be suspended to allow the settlement to be finalized.

Starion and OPC asked for the suspension in order to allow the parties to focus their efforts on, "finalizing the details of the settlement they have reached in principle."

"The Parties have negotiated a settlement that they plan to submit to the Commission for consideration by December 9, 2013. The Parties have been working through the final language of the settlement and had expected to finalize the agreement by this point in time. However, the press of other matters has delayed that from occurring. Nonetheless. the Parties are committed to working together to meet the target date specified here."
