Connecticut PURA to Hold Meeting Concerning Recent Legislation's Impact on Retail Market

The Connecticut PURA will convene a technical meeting on May 28 to discuss the impact of new legislation on its ongoing retail electric market customer protection docket, 13-07-18.
Earlier this spring, lawmakers enrolled Public Act No. 14-75 (SB2), which among other things prohibits a variable rate from increasing during the initial three months of service, and requires electric bills to include any rate changes effective for the next billing cycle.
The act further directs PURA to develop, by July 1, 2015, a standard bill format for residential customers
