Stream has launched several new energy plans in Texas and other states bundling either free identity protection service, or a free SkyBell Video Doorbell

Stream's new Protect & Save plan includes bundled in the per kWh rate Identity Protection, which includes:

• Change of address monitoring and alerts

• Social security monitoring and alerts

• Personal data misuse monitoring & alerts

• $1 million coverage, $0 deductible

• Full-service identity restoration services

• Live 24/7 lost wallet assistance

In the Oncor service area, Stream's Protect & Save plan is an 18-month fixed rate with an average all-in rate at 1,000 kWh of 7.9¢/kWh. This reflects a 3.7¢/kWh energy charge, and TDU charges of 3.638¢/kWh and $5.25 per month. A minimum usage charge of $9.95 applies in billing months where monthly usage is 999 kWh or less. A $250 early termination fee applies

Identity Protection had previously been offered by Stream as an a la carte service (and still is), and the company indicated that it may offer additional bundled services with energy supply (currently, Stream offers on an unbundled basis the following non-energy services: wireless, home phone, virtual MD, roadside assistance, credit monitoring, and tech support).

The Protect & Save plan is also offered in Stream's electricity service areas in Pennsylvania (including PECO and PPL), Maryland (including BGE and Pepco), New Jersey (PSE&G and JCPL) and the District of Columbia (Pepco) [note, utilities listed are examples but not an exhaustive list of service areas in each state where Stream offers the Protect & Save plan]. The Protect & Save plan is also offered with Stream's natural gas service in Georgia

Stream's new Smart 30 SkyBell Plan includes as part of the bundle a free SkyBell smart video doorbell, a $199 value. This SkyBell wireless high-definition video doorbell allows customers to see, hear and speak to visitors at their front door whether they're at home, work or on the go.

In the Oncor service area, Stream's Smart 30 SkyBell Plan is a 30-month fixed rate with an average all-in rate at 1,000 kWh of 9.4¢/kWh. This reflects a 5.2¢/kWh energy charge, and TDU charges of 3.638¢/kWh and $5.25 per month. A minimum usage charge of $9.95 applies in billing months where monthly usage is 999 kWh or less. A $250 early termination fee applies

The Smart 30 SkyBell Plan is also offered with Stream's natural gas service in Georgia

As previously reported, Stream previously launched bundles including either a free Honeywell Lyric Smart Thermostat (see story here) or a free Skydrop sprinkler controller (see story here).
