New Trade Name Approved for Direct Energy in Texas

The Public Utility Commission of Texas has approved the request of Direct Energy, LP to add the trade name New Leaf Energy to its Texas REP certificate (#10040). The new trade name had been first reported in Matters.

Sprague Operating Resources Receives Electric License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Sprague Operating Resources LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve small commercial (25 kW and under demand), large commercial (over 25 kW demand), and industrial customers in all service areas. Sprague is a natural gas supplier in Pennsylvania and is expanding into electric brokering at the request of its natural gas clients.

Best Power, LLC Receives New License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Best Power, LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application had been first reported in Matters.

Incite Energy Receives New License

The District of Columbia PSC granted Incite Energy, L.L.C. an electric broker license to serve all customer classes.
