Iron Energy LLC Seeks Texas REP Certificate
Iron Energy LLC applied for a Texas retail electric provider certificate. As only reported by Matters, Iron Energy recently received approval to sell a 50% stake in the company to Circle Tree Energy Partners, LLC, and has applied for a supplier license in Illinois. Iron Energy's management, including David Luppino, Chad Gallun, and Michael Elhaj, previously led Texas retail electric provider Chain Lakes Power (Simple Power), which sold its ERCOT book to Cirro Energy last year.
Network Marketer Independence Energy Group Receives License in New State
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Independence Energy Group, LLC an electric supplier license to serve residential and commercial customers in all service areas. The application had been first reported by Matters. A network marketer, Independence Energy Group LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Plus Holdings LLC, an NRG Energy, Inc. company. The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Enterprise Utility Procurement LLC d/b/a Enterprise Energy Consulting an electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas.
